Community Polytechnic Wing
The institution has the privilege of being
one of the pioneering institutions where the "Community
polytechnic wing" a Centrally Sponsored Scheme of Ministry
of Human Resources Development Govt Of India has been started
. The Community Polytechnic Wing of the institution has been
successfully doing the following activities:
Manpower development by way of imparting
short term and long term trainings in various Technical, Vocational
and job oriented courses.
Transfer of Technology .
Technical services.
Providing Technical Support Service.
Dissemination of information.
The Courses offered at present are:

- Stenography
- Beautician
- Garment Making
- Embrriodery and Needle work
- Textile Designing

- Ferrocement Technology
- Soakage pit
- Solar appliances
- Non Erodable mud Plaster
The Technical Support Services Camps are
being organised in the following areas
- Minor Repair of TV/Radio
- Maintenance of Household Appliances
- Repair of fans
- Sewing Machine Repair
- Rural house wiring
The NGO's and other Voluntary organisations
are being involved in all the activities.
The trainees are being provided guidance and counselling to
become entrepreneurs or become self employed.
Continuing Education Programme
The institution is conducting various continuing
education programmes with following objectives:
Arrange short term and long term programme
for working people.
Update skill of technical persons working in various industries.
Organise courses with the help of professional bodies.
Technical Vocational Education and Training:
Under this Scheme the Institute offers Technical
and Vocational Training Programmes so that the trainers get
adequate training in different Technical Trades to meet the
Industrial requirements or they can become entrepreneurs or
self employed .
Management Information System:
The institution has got LAN facility through which all the
Departments of the institution are interconnected. The information
flow is very effective.
