EDC advisory Board Meeting

Govt. Polytechnic for women Jammu organized first ever advisory Board meeting of Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) in the office chambers of the Principal on 10/09/2011The meeting was chaired by Er. Gubachan Singh Principal of the polytechnic and attended by all the advisory board members of the ED cell.

Mr. Singh while welcoming the participants gave a detailed overview of the aims and objectives of this cell which has been established in the Institution in collaboration with AICTE, Govt. of India in the current year.

Er. Naresh Gupta , Chief coordinator of the cell gave a presentation of the objectives and activities of the cell envisaged during 2011-12. He deliberated on the role of entrepreneurship in the curricula at Diploma level so that the students passing out of these Institutions could take up establishing their own ventures and become employers and not employees.

Detailed operation plan for the cell for 2011-12 was chalked out in consultation with the members of the Advisory board in the meeting.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Varinder Sharma Director MSME Jammu. Mr, Annil Suri Chairman AB consultants, Mr Sunil Gupta Project Manager DIC Jammu, Mr. Vishal Ray faculty JKEDI, Er. Neetu Maini HOD E&C, Er. Suket Gupta HOD Textile and other faculy of Govt. Polytechnic for Women Jammu.

Er. Naresh Gupta while thanking the members of the advisory board solicited their active cooperation in meeting the objectives of the cell.
