Patriotic Week Celebrations through Plantation Drive

Government Polytechnic for Women Jammu organized Plantation Drive on Wednesday, the 11th of August 2021. The session was inaugurated by jointly planting saplings on college campus by the Principal Er. Neelanjana Manwati, and DFO (Urban Forestry Division, Jammu) Sh. Sunil Singh.

The faculty and Staff members led by Er Pawan Kumar (HOD E&C Deptt) also planted saplings and vowed to plant more trees to ensure that the institution campus area is clean & green. Of the 25 saplings that were planted, 10 were medicinal. Sh. Kamal Kumar (Lecturer Textile Designing) who coordinated the drive instil the values of nurturing nature and importance of the environment.
