Government Polytechnic for Women, Jammu will provide quality Diploma programmes in Engineering, Technology and Office Management through formal and non-formal modes of delivery.

The Polytechnic will keep with the changing times by designing new programmes, upgrading the curricula of existing programmes, developing and modernising the infrastructure and organising staff development programmes on a regular basis.

The Polytechnic will be so developed as to have centres of excellence in key areas of engineering and technology. This will be achieved through the establishment of partnerships with Industry and the government departments, an initiative that will also largely strengthen the placement cell of the polytechnic.
