Heritage Craft Course

In the year 2016, the then Chief Minister of J&K State Jenab Mufti Mohammad Sayeed launched the Heritage Craft Scheme in Deptt. of Technical Education. He was very particular about the revival of Traditional Heritage Craft. As per local demand, eight (8) Heritage Craft Courses were started in various ITI's and Polytechnics. The present government has also shown keen interest in the scheme and do a lot to make it more vibrant and youth friendly.

Govt. Polytechnic for Women, Jammu started Traditional Phulkari Art in the session 2016-17 with an intake of 21 candidates.
